Woven Amulets
Contemporary textile jewellery by Isobelle Stothert
Woven Amulets are an exploration of precious materials, intricate detail and the quiet beauty of imperfection.
Each piece brings together the richness of woven textile with the delicate lustre of hand-stitched Japanese beads and the subtle, mineral colour of watermelon tourmaline. A considered interplay of thread, texture and light, where the refined meets the raw and the delicate retains its wild edges.
Conceived as contemporary talismans, these small adornments hold a sense of intimacy and quiet significance. Precious fragments transformed into something entirely new — tactile, enduring and made to be kept close.
Slowly woven and meticulously finished by hand in my Yorkshire Dales studio.
Precious things that now exist.
I work with a considered mix of sustainable and reclaimed fibres, which may include linen, organic cotton, silk, wool, recycled yarns, and subtle metallic threads. The combination of materials gives each bracelet its own quiet individuality — no two are exactly the same.
Woven to be experienced, cherished, and worn as part of everyday life.
Sizing: Finished with an adjustable square knot fastening for a comfortable, flexible fit.
Care: If needed, gently hand-wash in cold water and dry flat. To preserve the fibres and natural tones, avoid excessive heat and friction.
Limited Edition: This bracelet is either a one off or woven in a very small batch. Once the current run sells out, it will not be restocked.
