WEAVING TUITION
Learn to weave - single day
A day's 1:1 tuition in my studio at Farfield Mill, Sedbergh. On this day you will learn the basics about weaving and basic weave structures whilst using a 4-shaft table loom, as well as yarn selection and arrangement. You will have the opportunity to experiment with colour and texture to create a piece of cloth that you can take home with you!

Become a weaver - 2 days
On this 2 day course you will receive 1:1 tuition by me in my studio at Farfield Mill, Sedbergh. You will learn how to make and design a warp, the basics about weaving, basic weave structures and yarn selection. Dressing and weaving on a 4-shaft table loom, you will have the chance to get creative with patterns and colour. You will have the opportunity to experiment and with colour and texture to create a piece of cloth that you can take home with you!
10am - 4pm both days

Weaving Intensive Course
- 4 days
A more in-depth course that will be tailored to you personally. Taking you through the process of weaving from start to finish, this course will not only teach you everything you need to know to become a weaver, but it will also give you more time to experiment with design and colour, creating samples, more complicated weave structures, finishing processes and more.
There is also the possibility to get an introduction to spinning your own yarn during this course. (Please let me know if this is something you would like included at the time of booking).
10 am - 4 pm each day

Further Information.

A deposit will be required to save the dates for your tuition. This will be based on £45 per day. If you cancel more than 14 days prior to your course date you will be refunded your deposit. Any cancellations after this time will be non-refundable, however, you will have the option to rearrange for another date in the future and carry the deposit forward.

Full payment is required at least 7 days before the course start.

If you would like to bring your own table loom to work on, please mention this on the enquiry form or email.

Tea and coffee will be included.
​
Feel free to bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio or you are of course welcome to visit the Tea Room on level 1.
